Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

What is the pledge program? A Pledge Program simplifies how your donations to the church are given and tracked. You start by making a pledge to donate an amount you declare for next fiscal year. You also specify when you will donate, (weekly, monthly, quarterly).

Where does the donated money go? Pledge donations go into what is called, “The Building Fund”. The money is to help raise a portion of the cost of the new facility.

How does it work? 1. Congregants/ Friends fill out a pledge form and make a commitment to Donate a declared amount over the course of the year.
2. When you donate, you can use cash, check, money order or cashier’s check for periodic donations towards your pledge. Envelopes which you have or will be given should be used, on which you write your name and donation amount. (A Credit card option will be available at a later date.)

Do all my donations count toward my pledge? If you make a pledge, then all donations will be credited toward your building fund pledge. Tithes and annual days love offerings (with the the exception of Men and Women’s Day) are not credited toward your pledge.

Privacy: What about my privacy? What you donate is personal. When you make a Pledge, the information is kept confidential within the church records system. Only the treasurer, Minister, Trustee Chairman and Records Keeper from the Pledge committee have access to that information. Our Policy is to restrict access and respect each donor’s privacy. The end of the Year financial statements that you receive are individually mailed directly or given straight to you. As an added measure of privacy, you can request that your name be withheld as anonymous on any public listing of pledge donor names.

Being Obligated: We are all obligated to support the church as it supports us The Pledge System is designed to give you the flexibility to donate anytime or anyway that you like. The church needs our support and appreciates every contribution. Making a pledge is a commitment in advance to work toward giving the church your support. You can even change your pledge amount at any time. The idea behind pledging is to give the church a “heads up” on what to financially expect throughout the year.

What are the benefits to the church and me of pledging? 1. Your pledge underscores your commitment to Weeping Mary and the building of the new facility.
2. It gives the church leadership visibility to plan more effectively and anticipate any shortfalls.

Pledging makes it easier for you to track your donations, receive statements for tax purposes and donate in ways most convenient for you.
